Queen Sheba is co-founder Poetry vs. Hip-Hop, LLC (the business) and Poetry vs. Hip-Hop the nationally touring live stage production. She is the sole founder and CEO of Below The Radar, LLC which houses Rough Language Poetry Slam Series, Jokes & Notes Comedy & Concert series and several other innovated and creative platforms for a plethora of genres in the arts; including but not limited to: Poetry, Spoken Word, Comedy, various Visual Art medias and Live Music.

In her 18 years experience as an event planner, Queen Sheba has created and co-created several muti-day poetry festivals: The Word Fair, Word Up!, Akoben, Southern Fried Poetry Slam ATL 2009, with layers that include: community service, both adult and youth writing and performance workshops, a health and fitness component, A-list artist concerts and competitions.

Currently, Queen Sheba is Associate Producer and host of 'GAY WRITES' an online web-series $1,000 Poetry Competition for the LGBTQIA community. In the near future, Poetry vs. Hip-Hop will become a full fledged series!

Sheba is a Int’l 4 Countries Slam Champion, two time National Poetry Slam Champ, three time Regional Poetry Slam Champ and a iWPS (Individual World Poetry Slam) & WOWps (Women of the World) Finalist. Sheba is also a featured performer on season two of Verses and Flow, brought to you by Lexus on TV One, and has been on Spoken, a featured poet on All Def Poetry Digital, Lyric Café on BET, 106&Park, the Apollo and the feature length film Spit.

Sheba has six albums, two of which were up for a Grammy under the Spoken Word category and she is a two-time NAACP Image Award Nominee.

Her works have appeared in numerous anthologies, magazines including Vibe Online and the focus of college student’s papers. Queen Sheba has two books: From Foster Care to Fame short stories and poems too long for three minutes and Run Ugly! A motivational book for runners.

With a Masters in Poetry from Queens University Spoken Word artist, motivational speaker, comedian, and bathroom concert singer, Sheba tours internationally and has conducted performances and workshops at over 200 colleges and universities domestic and abroad.

Let's meet co-founder & Tour Dj - Dj Knodat (Know-DAT) 

of Poetry vs. Hip-Hop, LLC (the business) and Poetry vs. Hip-Hop the Nationally Touring Live Stage production. 

She is the curator and program manager for the Dj Tribute: 'Pay Homage & Respect' and 'All Hail The Queen'; annual tribute festivals (Tupac: The Rose That Grew From Concrete Tribute Concert & NipFestATL) and creator of Juke Box Live! the swelling live band karaoke night, in Atlanta!

While developing a career as an in-studio engineer, Knodat tried her hand at DJing in 2011, instantly, she was hooked on a new way to bring good music to the masses. 

Known for her deep crates, extensive knowledge of music theory and her variety of genres, she is often called on to perform across and out of the country;  

Spin for major celebrities, athletes & artists! Knodat has performed at pop-up parties in South Africa and has toured Germany.

Knodat is the official tour Dj of #onepoetandadj #roughlanguage #jokesandnotes and of course #poetryvshiphop!
